Founder & Director

Erin Reardon

Erin is the founder of Empower Physio, which she started in March 2021.

Erin has completed a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, a Masters in Continence and Pelvic Health with Distinction and multiple courses in women’s health through the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) and Women’s Health Training Associates (WHTA). She is also recognised as a Titled Women’s, Men’s and Pelvic Health Physiotherapist by the Australian Physiotherapist Association.

Erin is passionate about learning and using her knowledge to improve the quality of life of her patients. She believes the best part about her job is the feeling of satisfaction knowing she has helped someone.

“It is such a gift to be able to hear some-body's story and then use my skills to be able to problem solve and work through the issue with them.”

Erin grew up in the close-knit community of Temora in rural NSW but has proudly called Port Macquarie home since 2019. She enjoys spending her downtime with her husband (James), their son (Lachie) and their puppy (Abbie).

Physiotherapist

Cianna Slenders

Cianna joined the Empower Physio team in 2024. She has a Master of Science in Physical Therapy and a Bachelor of Kinesiology. She has also completed multiple women’s health courses through the APA.

Cianna’s passion for women’s health, combined with her ability to make her patients feel heard and at ease have made her a perfect fit for the team at Empower Physio For Women.

Outside of work, Cianna loves being active in any way that feels good for her body on that day - whether it's swimming, pilates, lifting weights or pole dancing.

“I try not to take myself too seriously and love to slow down and enjoy the little things in life.”

Born and raised in Western Canada, Cianna has called Port Macquarie home since 2022. She plans to continue enjoying the beautiful region with her husband Benny and their chunky cat, Cream Soda.
